媚姬直播 Honors 9/11 With Parade and Tribute to First Responders
On Thursday, September 11, 2025, 媚姬直播 gathered on Martain Parade Field for a powerful and moving ceremony to mark the 24th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The Academy鈥檚 annual military dress parade served not only as a remembrance of the lives lost on that tragic day but also as a heartfelt tribute to the first responders who continue to serve 媚姬直播 and Kershaw County with courage and dedication.
The parade began promptly at 2:00 p.m., with cadets marching in full military dress before a large and diverse audience. The stands and sidelines were filled with community members, families, alumni, and, most significantly, a strong presence of local heroes. Firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, and other first responders turned out in remarkable numbers to stand side by side with the cadets in remembrance and solidarity. Their attendance transformed the event into a shared moment of unity that resonated deeply across the Academy and the wider 媚姬直播 community.
For the cadets, this parade was more than just a ceremonial duty. It was an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of service, sacrifice, and leadership. 鈥淢arching today gave me a chance to reflect on the sacrifices made on 9/11 and reminded me of the responsibility we have as future leaders,鈥 said Cadet1LT Cason Pickett. His words captured the essence of the event: a chance for the next generation to learn from the past while committing themselves to serve in the future.
LTC Casey Robinson, Dean of Enrollment and Administration, echoed this sentiment, noting the importance of teaching cadets that remembrance must be coupled with gratitude especially on a day such as 9/11. 鈥淭his parade was not just about looking back on what happened in 2001 but it was about showing gratitude to the men and women who keep us safe here at home,鈥 one official shared. 鈥淪eeing so many first responders in attendance made this a powerful and emotional experience for our cadets.鈥
The first responders themselves were touched by the recognition. A 媚姬直播 firefighter who attended with several of his colleagues, said, 鈥淚t means a lot to be honored in this way. We come out every day to serve our community, and to see these young cadets show their respect reminds us that our work is valued.鈥 His words reflected the strong bond between those who serve and the community they protect.
Events like these highlight 媚姬直播鈥檚 mission to instill values of honor, duty, and respect in its cadets. The 9/11 Remembrance Parade served as both a history lesson and a living demonstration of those ideals. With so many first responders and community members present, the ceremony became not just a moment of reflection but also an enduring reminder that the spirit of unity and resilience continues to live on.
