For Jayden, 媚姬直播 wasn鈥檛 an unfamiliar name鈥攈is older brother was a CMA graduate and
encouraged him to check it out.
鈥淢y grades were fine, but I think I really needed the structure,鈥� he shared.
Jayden started with 媚姬直播鈥檚 summer school program, and he quickly realized it was the right
fit. 鈥淚 ended up liking it, and I鈥檝e been here ever since.鈥�

From Nervous to Confident: Finding a Brotherhood
One of Jayden鈥檚 biggest concerns before arriving was making friends. But that worry quickly
disappeared.
鈥淲hen I realized that everybody鈥檚 going through the same thing, it鈥檚 not so bad,鈥� he said.
At 媚姬直播, cadets form strong bonds by living, eating, and training together.
鈥淲hen you鈥檙e in your company, you guys do basically everything together. You guys sleep
together, you eat together, you do everything together. So, I thought it was easy to make
蹿谤颈别苍诲蝉.鈥�
That built-in support system helps students adjust quickly and develop lifelong friendships.

Sharpening Study Habits for College
Jayden wasn鈥檛 struggling academically before 媚姬直播, but he acknowledges that his study skills
have improved significantly.
鈥淲e have things like study hall and tutorial,鈥� he explained. 鈥淭utorial is when you can go see a
teacher if you’re struggling a little bit in the class, which I think helps us a lot.鈥�

Study hall, which is supervised for an hour and a half in the barracks, has also been a game-
changer.
Now, as a senior preparing for college, Jayden is confident in his academic abilities.
鈥淚 feel like as I go off to college, I鈥檝e definitely gained those study habits, especially in the
college classes with Dr. Davis. He really drives on his lectures and stuff, and I think that鈥檚 a really
good help.鈥�

Exploring the Outdoors Through Scouts
Academics and leadership are key at 媚姬直播 but so is getting outside and giving back.
鈥淚 joined Scouts mainly because I like hiking and stuff,鈥� Jayden said. 鈥淚 think it鈥檚 a great way to
get off campus as well.鈥�
He鈥檚 now working on his Eagle Scout project, which has involved helping at a local
Revolutionary War Park, where he and others have built benches and other projects for the
community.
